Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority's Oldest Firetruck

It is amazing to know that a 55 year-old fire truck that is considered as the oldest fire truck is still being used by the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, Fire Department. The Firetruck, older than our parents and grand parents serves as witness to many important events forming the City of Olongapo and the Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ) we know today.

When it is peculiar nowadays to have one as such, our team thought of some important scenarios that triggered each member to know more of the vehicle. The team has to gather data about the vehicle. And from there we could decide and answer for ourselves the questions,
"Would you like to be served by the Fire Department using only this old Firetruck, in case there is fire in your place? Aren't you afraid that it might not function well amidst its task of putting out the fire?"

Having thought of the questions presented, our team formulated the general objective of this study, that is, to show the benefits of   the SBMA antique Firetruck to the people of Olongapo and tell the world about it through a published article online.

This study provides articles containing our findings relative to the following aspects of the antique Firetruck and its operation: (1) to show to the local community the functions of SBMA antique Firetruck in responding to fire calls; (2)to determine the specifications of the Firetruck;(3) to demonstrate the capability of the SBMA antique fire truck in putting out fire and rescue.
